    OUR SERVICES

    Integrative Spine and Sport

If you’ve tried physical therapy, medical care, pain management, or your chiropractor hasn’t fixed you, contact us and experience a different approach to achieve fast, lasting results

    Fascial Distortion Model

FDM is a model that provides the ability for Integrative Spine and Sport to look at your acute and chronic pain through a different lens whichs views the majority of soft tissue injury as being caused by one or more of six different types of alterations to the body’s connective tissues, each containing its own distinct form of correction.

Treatments with FDM can include having fascial seams ironed out, having fascial coils smoothed out, having fascial transition zones on attachment points reversed, minimizing tissue that protrudes up through fascial planes, having fascial folds unfolded and refolded, and releasing fixated joints. How you present your injury combined with the FDM assessment will clearly identify the type of distortion(s) you suffer with and lead Dr. Michael Heitholt to the proper corrective technique to be utilized.

    Active Care and Corrective Exercises

Integrative Spine and Sport does not settle for temporarily reducing pain, but strives to achieve lasting results for each patient. When adhesion is treated and fixed, the result is an increase in range of motion, strength, and function. In order to create lasting results, most patients will be given specific exercises designed to prevent recurrence of pain and discomfort.

    Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic focuses on alterations to the musculoskeletal system and nervous system, and their effects on your general health. It’s typically used to treat neuromusculoskeletal issues, like back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints, and headaches. Chiropratic adjustments, or spinal manipulation, is performed to restore joint mobility to joints that have become restricted in movement that has occurred as a result of trauma or overuse of the body’s tissue.
